Area Directors
Area Directors serve as the outreach arm of the WRJ Mid-Atlantic District. Each Area Director is responsible for 4-6 sisterhoods and acts as a communication link between sisterhoods and the district. Area Directors are well-versed on WRJ policies, programs, materials, and events. Their role is similar to the hub of a wheel, connecting sisterhoods located within driving distance to plan and participate in “Area Days.” One of the wonderful benefits to WRJ membership is that sisterhoods are instantly connected to hundreds of other sisterhoods. Area Directors help sisterhoods make those connections fun and easy. To find the contact information on the Area Director that serves your sisterhood, click on “Directory.

WRJ and District Speakers’ Bureau
The Speakers’ Bureau is a valuable opportunity for sisterhoods to learn from WRJ and district leadership. Officers and Board members from WRJ and the Mid-Atlantic District are available to energize, inspire, educate, and motivate rising leaders as well as general membership. These speakers will help sisterhoods prepare for a special event, celebration or retreat, and introduce members to the special projects and programs of WRJ. They will also facilitate training workshops on any aspect of sisterhood life. To find out more about how to take advantage of this opportunity, contact your Area Director or the District President. If you are seeking a speaker directly from WRJ, contact Rachel Jurisz or call WRJ toll free at 1.866.WRJ.5924.

Spiritual Services
One of the great advantages to being a WRJ member is that your sisterhood can learn from and share with hundreds of other sisterhoods across North America. A great example of this is the WRJ online library of scripts and services. WRJ collects scripts and services for sacred occasions and holidays. Contributions to the online library are made by sisterhoods and districts. If your sisterhood has created an original script or service that you would like to share, please email an electronic copy to Rachel Jurisz. If your sisterhood would like to use one of the scripts or services from the WRJ online library, visit www.WomenofReformJudaism.org You will find the scripts and services under "Leadership Materials" in the secure section of the website, which means you will need to "sign-in" to access or download the information. Ask your sisterhood president for "sign-in" user name and password to enter the secure section of the WRJ website and enjoy exploring dozens of creative scripts for Shabbat, Havdallah, Rosh Chodesh, Installation, and more.
Note: New sisterhood presidents should register immediately with WRJ to recieve a "sign-in" user name and password for the WRJ website. This will enable the president and other leaders of your sisterhood to access valuable leadership materials located in the secure section of the WRJ website. It will also register your sisterhood to recieve helpful information like "Social Justice: Advocacy and Programming" and will enable your president to participate in secure online discussions through the WRJ listserv
