Dear WRJ Friends, 

I want to personally welcome you to the Women of Reform Judaism Mid-Atlantic District website.  Whether this is your first visit or just your most recent, I hope you’ll find all the information you need. We continue to add content so become a frequent visitor and see what’s new around the district.

Mid-Atlantic District encompasses 37 Sisterhoods, large and small, spread over five states and the District of Columbia. As such, we are the link between WRJ and local sisterhoods; striving to support and strengthen sisterhoods in their ongoing activities. Through the Departments of "Service to Sisterhoods", "Programming and Advocacy", "Marketing and Communications", "Development and WRJ Projects" as well as our Area Directors and Executive Committee, the women of the Mid-Atlantic District Board provide an invaluable resource for local sisterhoods.

At our District Conventions and Interim Meetings, we offer innovative programming and excellent training. District speakers are also available to come to member sisterhoods in support of a variety of events including Sisterhood Shabbat, Installation and training workshops.

Please look at what we offer through this website and then get to know us personally. At first, it was my interest and belief in the programs of sisterhood on behalf of our congregation and community that led me to WRJ. But, it was the amazing women I have come to know that keeps me active and sustains me in all my work for WRJ.

Over time, I have been sisterhood president, a member of the district board, a WRJ Board member and now am proud to represent all of the diverse, wonderful and hardworking sisterhood women of Mid-Atlantic District as President. Standing together with them, we help women build meaningful Jewish lives and an enduring legacy for the future.
